OTHER BIM SERVICES

Simulation is a process that joins a 3D models with the project schedule allowing all stakeholders to visualize the various phases in a virtual environment. Simulation also, allows improving sequencing by simulating the placement of resources – effectively mapping the model and the delivery time-line together.

COBie Services

TreisTek has experienced team to work on Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie), which is a non-proprietary data format for the publication of a subset of Building Information Models (BIM) focused on delivering asset data as distinct from geometric information. By transforming the paper-based data storage process to a digital format, COBie paves way to efficient collaboration and streamlined information exchange all over the world.

BOQ and BOM Services

TreisTek has a very experienced team to work on BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and BOM (Bill of Materials) which are the two important parts of the planning process. These are prepared at the preliminary stage of the fabrication, which involves core estimation of the project cost. This chart containing all data on scope and materials of the project, directly or indirectly involved fabrication of components help the owner/consultant to design the profitability and feasibility of the project accurately.

Our services include controlling the estimated cost by neutralizing the wastage and providing final information on the fabrication, outlining the basic project budget, cost control, cash flow forecasts and creating a payment schedule.

Quantity Take offs

Our team of skilled and experienced engineers and estimators excel in creating Quantity Takeoffs in coordination with a Revit BIM Model. These intelligent 5D BIM models enhance the collaboration between the project teams and stakeholders in order to establish robust cost estimation for the construction process. We collaborate with architects, engineers, large construction companies, and contractors to help them win projects and tenders by evaluating quantities and estimating costs through 5D BIM Services. This enables them to exhibit a list of material quantities besides a virtual model and observe the effects on building costs.

4D and 5D BIM

We develop models of Levels of Detailing LOD 100 to LOD 500. We add Scheduling and Phasing (4D BIM) and Cost Estimation (5D BIM) to the 3D model which facilitates timely and informed decision making and ultimately results in a seamless construction.

Our 4D BIM (Scheduling, Time Model) services include –

  • Project Phasing Simulation

  • Lean Scheduling

    • Last Planner

    • Just In Time (JIT) Equipment Deliveries

    • Detailed Simulation Installation

  • Visual Validation for Payment Approval

Our 5D BIM (Estimating, Cost Model) services include –

Energy Analysis

TreisTek uses a properly adjusted BIM model to conduct energy assessments for the current building design. The core goal of this BIM use is to inspect building energy standard compatibility and seek opportunities to optimize proposed design to reduce structure's life-cycle costs.

Why Energy Analysis?

  • Save time and costs by obtaining building and system information automatically from BIM model instead of inputting data manually

  • Improve building energy prediction accuracy by auto-determining building information such as geometries, volumes precisely from BIM model

  • Help with building energy code verification

  • Optimize building design for better building performance efficiency and reduce building life-cycle cost

Lighting Analysis

You can understand and quantify the amount of the sun’s light in your project with daylighting analysis. This can help you create comfortable and beautiful spaces, reduce lighting loads, and reduce cooling loads.

Why Lighting Analysis?

  • You can improve the form of the building/room to get more natural light

  • You can get enough light for specific tasks

  • You can determine the behavior of a given lighting system. This can also include artificial (indoor and outdoor) and natural (daylighting and solar shading) lighting.

  • Based on this analysis further development and refinement of the lighting design takes place to create effective, efficient, and constructible lighting systems.

  • It allows for performance simulations that can significantly improve the design

Pedestrian Simulation

Pedestrian Simulation is an accurate representation of the human walking behavior and dynamics in a virtual environment.

Proximity Modeling: Proximity Analysis gives the insights to understand scenarios for operating sites or structures in a ‘new normal’ situation. An essential part of the toolbox for architects, urban planners, property owners or facilities managers for now and into the long-term future.

Agent Based Evacuation: Advanced movement simulation combined with high-quality 3-D animated results.
